Karl transitioned from co-founder and CTO at VTS to an advisory role. Ever since writing a program using Pascal in 11th grade, Karl knew he wanted to build high-impact software for a living. He started his career working at Tallan Inc., building websites for clients such as Columbiahouse.com and Bank of America. In 2005, Karl joined Goldman Sachs, where he became a Vice President and Architect within Securities Lending Technology. Karl went on to become CTO of Weshop.com in 2009. A few years later, Nick Romito overheard Karl talking tech with a few friends at a sandwich shop and convinced him to come onboard at VTS, leading the company’s technical team.
Karl has been featured in The Wall Street Journal amongst many other top commercial real estate media platforms. In his free time, Karl enjoys watching baseball and supporting his alma mater, Binghamton University.
