Meet our leadership team
Nick Romito is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of VTS. Nick started his career in commercial real estate over a decade ago as a tenant rep and landlord broker at New York City’s Murray Hill Properties. There, he expanded the U.S. presence of international companies while supporting the growth of the firm’s 8-million square-foot office portfolio. Nick went on to AM Properties, where he oversaw a 3-million square-foot office portfolio, before becoming the founder and CEO of Titan Advisors in 2009. While leading Titan, a full-service commercial real estate firm, Nick realized the need in the industry for a technology platform that could centralize leasing activity, analytics, and marketing.
Nick has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Entrepreneur Magazine. He has spoken at Harvard Business School’s Technology Cyberposium and real estate conferences around the world including Realcomm, Urban Land Institute's Fall Meeting, and MIPIM. Nick is a self-professed outdoor enthusiast and has earned several national awards in surfing.
Ryan Masiello is the co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer of VTS. He brings more than 12 years of experience in Midtown Manhattan commercial real estate– the world’s most competitive office market— to the table and is charged with leading VTS’ international expansion. Ryan started his career at Cushman & Wakefield, before getting recruited by JLL to help lead the firm’s business development efforts in New York. During his seven years at JLL, Ryan became Senior Vice President and brokered over 2 million square feet of office deals with Fortune 500 and high-growth technology companies, earning him honors as a four-time global top-producer. Ryan frequently advised on corporate technology and growth strategies for JLL.
Ryan has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Entrepreneur Magazine and the Commercial Observer. When he’s not in the office, he can be found surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding and exploring the world.
Tim Harvey is the Executive Chairman of VTS. He brings extensive experience guiding high-growth companies that offer software and services across a variety of industries. Most recently, Tim served as President of Commercial Solutions at BAE Systems Plc (LON:BA), a leading global defense, aerospace and security company. Tim joined BAE as a result of the acquisition of SilverSky in October 2014, a provider of security software and managed services. As CEO he was responsible for the growth and sale of the business to BAE. Tim graduated with a degree in Finance from the University of Florida and served 4 years as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
Amy Millard is the Chief Marketing Officer at VTS, responsible for corporate marketing, product marketing, and demand generation. Amy has over 15 years of experience driving growth and revenue at B2B SaaS companies. Prior to joining VTS, Amy was CMO of Spigit and was VP of Marketing for Hearsay Social.
Amy began her career at Netscape in California. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and an MBA from Stanford University. Unlike the rest of the Exec Team, Amy does not surf, but can be found on the weekends enjoying a good play or other cultural activities.
Josh Evans is Chief Revenue Officer of VTS, commercial real estate's leading leasing and asset management platform. VTS is used by more than 700 landlords and brokerage firms to manage more than 11 billion square feet of office, retail, and industrial assets across more than 35 countries. Clients include Blackstone, LaSalle Investment Management, Hines, Boston Properties, JLL and CBRE.
Josh is a seasoned professional with almost 20 years building and growing sales, professional services and customer success organizations in the technology industry. Prior to VTS, Josh served as SVP of Sales at Velocify and helped start the internet company CarsDirect.com (now Internet Brands) which successfully IPOed in 2007.
Josh holds a BS in Economics and Political Science from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. When he isn’t busy leading the VTS sales team, you can find him at the turntables as a DJ, traveling, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Niall Smart is the co-founder and SVP Engineering at VTS. Previously, he was the co-founder and CTO at Hightower. Niall’s career in technology spans enterprise solutions, digital media and embedded devices. He loves to work with cross-discipline product teams applying their creativity, skill and energy to build industry-changing products.
Before VTS and Hightower, Niall was co-founder of Echodio, a Y-Combinator backed digital media startup that was acquired by RealNetworks in 2009. At RealNetworks, he led development of cloud media initiatives and launched their first web-based video product. Niall originally hails from Dublin, Ireland and holds a degree in Computer Science from Imperial College London. At weekends, you can find Niall cycling up inclines in Rockland County, or checking out New York’s live music scene.
Patrick Kehoe is responsible for Customer Success & Services at VTS. Prior to VTS, Patrick spent three years at Hightower as SVP of Commercial Operations leading Customer Success, Operations and Marketing and helping the company scale 100% year-over-year in that period. Prior to Hightower, Patrick spent six years at McKinsey & Company as an Associate Principal in the Technology practice advising executive teams on how to better scale their businesses and optimize sales, marketing and operations.
Patrick lives in Manhattan with his wife and three energetic kids. Outside of work, Patrick is a keen poker and chess player and an avid swimmer. Patrick holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, an M.S. in Engineering from the University of Southern California and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from University College Dublin.
Gijo Mathew is the Chief Product Officer (CPO) at VTS, the commercial real estate industry’s leading leasing and asset management platform. In this role, Gijo leads VTS’ product, design, and innovation teams to develop the solutions trusted by landlords and brokers to manage more than 10 billion square feet of assets globally.
Gijo is a seasoned product and technology leader with more than two decades of experience in the strategy and execution of products for both established and emerging companies. Prior to VTS, Gijo served as CPO at Web.com where he was responsible for product design and management for $800M in annual revenue. He has also served as Vice President of Product Management of IT Management SaaS at Nimsoft, Head of Product at Orchestria, and Vice President of Product for Security Solutions at CA Technologies.
Gijo is passionate about solving customer problems, is a regular speaker at industry and product management events, and enjoys advising startups about the craft of product management.
Gijo holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from Boston University and a Bachelor of Computer Science from Ithaca College.
Bob Bies is a senior executive and financial professional with 30 years of finance and operating experience in SaaS and technology companies. He has previously taken companies from startup through the growth stage to a successful IPO and has led teams in hyper-growth merger and acquisition platforms. Bob has led finance, human resources, IT, legal, business operations, corporate development, and investor relations and has completed a number of successful exits in his career.
Thomas Byrne is the General Manager, Retail Solutions and Data at VTS. Tom has been an active real estate technology evangelist, thought leader, investor, and business leader within the real estate technology sector for almost 20 years. Thomas was most recently the CEO of PropertyCapsule/RealNexus until its acquisition by VTS.
Prior to PropertyCapsule/RealNexus, Thomas spent 10 years building and managing LoopNet, Inc. into one of the fastest-growing and most profitable companies on the NASDAQ, before its strategic acquisition in 2012. He also served as Group Vice President of NextCard's Secured Card business unit and held management positions at McKinsey & Company and Prudential Investments working in various investment capacities, including the Prudential Real Estate Group, in both commercial real estate and mortgage loan workout groups.
Thomas holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and has a B.S. of Electrical Engineering, with highest honors, from Georgia Tech.
